Homemade Chocolate Popcorn + Sweet Pink Popcorn

Everybody loves popcorn, right? I know I do! So why not give it a special sweet touch with this DIY tutorial to enjoy some extra special popcorn with your loved ones or just curl up with your favorite movie?

  • ¼ cup of oil
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup of yellow popcorn kernels
  • Melted chocolate
  • 10 drops of Food coloring (optional)

Get your ingredients ready and a popcorn pan. Inside the pan, place all the ingredients except the chocolate. This is when you add the food coloring if you want your popcorn to be pink or any other different color!

Heat them over medium high heat until all the kernels pop. Once they have all popped, remove the popcorn from the pan and wait for it to cool down.

Now it’s time to make our popcorn a DIY Chocolate Treat. Melt your preferred chocolate in the microwave and spread it all over the popcorn. Then, wait for the chocolate to harden.

Once it has cooled down, store it in sealed bags or jars and they will last up to 8 days.

This is not only a great idea for a special snack or movie treat, but it can also be gift wrapped into a sweet treat!

I hope you enjoyed this DIY Chocolate Treat and let us know in the comments if you ever try to make it!
